1983 | KHOSLA ENGINEERS, founded by Rajesh Khosla, a professional design engineer, became operational for manufacturing wax paper wrapping machines at Mohali, India. |
1983 | Sold first wrapping machine OW 21. |
1984 | Obtained first patent - an ongoing process there after. |
1987 | Introduced wrapping machine OW51S for detergent bars and laundry soap. Sold first machine to Stepan Chemicals, a wholly owned unit of Hindustan Lever. Impressed by performance of the machine, the company replaced all its machines with OW51S. All these soap and detergent packaging machines are still operational. |
1989 | Developed horizontal from fill and seal machine. |
1993 | Exported first machine OW51S to Zimbabwe. |
1994 | Expanded capacity of Mohali unit. Added 15,000 square feet of constructed area. |
1995 | Mohali unit, Khosla Machines, became a private limited company. |
1996 | Khosla Machines Pvt. Ltd. received its single biggest order of 51 detergent bar wrapping machines from Nirma Ltd., the largest detergent bar producers of India. |
1997 | Introduced toilet soap wrapping machine WRAPPER-2000T. |
1998 | Installed Proprietary Computerized Inventory System (for machine components) |
1999 | Installed CNC machining centre and CAD/CAM system. |
2000 | Introduced new model WRAPPER 2001 and WRAPPER 2001T, for packing soap. |
2002 | Sold 500th machine in December 2002. |
2003 | Introduced WRAPPER 4000 & WRAPPER 4000T high speed soap wrapping machines. |
